Nightstands

This pair of nightstands were made in oak. If you look at the nightstands from the top or the side, you might have noticed that they are made by joining 4 separate boards together. The question we then ask is: in what order do we arrange the boards? We eventually chose to bookmatch the boards, giving the nightstands a symmetrical look. And since our customer likes wood grain with more patterns, we wanted to highlight and centralise the boards with more character.

By leaving a gap between the top and the legs, a floating effect is created.
